Hi I’m Sarah Morgan, mental health advocate, and Registered Social Worker (RSW) counselling others in their journey back to themselves through holistic & traditional techniques of help and self reflection. My consultation & counselling style offers an inward approach to dealing with personal challenges utilizing traditional counselling practices, complimented with yoga and meditation.  Here at Sarah Morgan Counselling my goal is to help you identify your emotions, where they might be coming from, and guiding you through self reflection techniques that help support and validate your individual feelings & experiences.  You are the expert in your life, and together we will use your existing inner strength and wisdom to guide you towards wellness and inner peace.

Welcome to Sarah Morgan Counselling, I am so glad you are here!  I know reaching out for help can be intimidating and bring up lots of different emotions.  Although things might seem uncertain right now, you are taking a step in the right direction by getting support.   

With over 10 years work and volunteer experience with individuals and families, my focus is working with individuals with mental health concerns.  My passion for helping others comes from my past struggles and the challenges of people I love.  Having been on the receiving end of therapy, I have a unique understanding of the emotions and struggles that often arise throughout a person's recovery and wellness journey.  Working in the mental health system with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental health, I have seen that there is such a strong need for additional supports for individuals and families that are struggling.  Now more than ever, we are seeing many people struggling with their mental health as a result of the global pandemic.  Sarah Morgan Counselling was created with the goal of supporting individuals in achieving wellness and a greater understanding of their inner self.

Understanding that each person's journey is unique, we will work together to create a plan that best fits your needs.  Through Sarah Morgan Counselling, you have a few services to choose from depending on your needs.

For individuals or families experiencing mental health concerns, it can be overwhelming to understand what services you, or your loved one might need.  If you are unsure, or are struggling to navigate the mental health care system, the 90 minute consultation is a good place to start.  Here we will review background information, current concerns, and a plan of action.  After the session, you will receive an outline of what was discussed, and any recommendations provided.

For those who are looking for somebody to talk to about their past, or current life struggles, the 60 minute individual counselling session is a great choice.  During your 60 minute session the time is yours to address any concerns you might have.  We will work together to navigate your thoughts and feelings through self reflection.  Whatever it might be that you are going through, we will work through it together.

Feeling overwhelmed and stressed but you don't have the time or require a full 60 minute session?  The 30 minute individual counselling session is the perfect fit.  

​

Sometimes talk therapy isn't for everyone, and we need a different approach which is why I offer a 90 minute mindful movement and counselling session which blends yoga, meditation, and traditional talk therapy together.  As a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, I will guide you through different yoga poses, sequences and breath work, as a way to connect with your body and soul.  When we utilize multiple methods of wellness, we include our mind and body on our healing journey.
